Target Companies
CoreNetwork aims to support growing companies in the region by providing access to angel investment. Although we primarily seek companies in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan, we will consider any investment opportunity with the potential to provide above-average returns. Firms passing the initial review stage will present their investment opportunity to CoreNetwork Investors, who will decide, on an individual basis, whether or not they want to invest in the company.
In particular, CoreNetwork looks to invest in companies that meet the following criteria:
- Companies with high growth potential
- Not limited to any specific sectors or life-cycle stages
- Retail and low-tech products are generally not high growth
- Investment in the range of $100,000 to $2,500,000
- We are willing to syndicate deals with other Angel investment groups
- Companies with a strong management team
- Products/services that have strong competitive advantages, including intellectual property
- Realistic valuation of the company
- Defined financial and operational objectives for investment funds
- A defined exit strategy for investors
